We currently have openings for the following positions:

Recreation
RECREATION AND LEISURE SERVICES SPECIALIST – Week-ender Program – P/T Supervise and ensure the safety of Participants utilizing the Recreation weekend programs. Empower the participants to achieving outcomes that match their interests and abilities. High school diploma and experience in the field of developmental disabilities required. Must be able to physically train and assist persons in sports and fitness activities. Must be 18 and have a valid Illinois driver’s license, violation free for at least one year. Hours: Fridays- 5:30-9:30pm, Saturdays- 9am-5pm, Sundays- 1pm-5pm. Starting pay: $10.33 per hour.

Residential
DIRECT SUPPORT PERSON - We are seeking caring individuals to assist adults with developmental disabilities to achieve their Personal Goals and Daily Living Skills. The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. High School diploma or equivalent with 1 to 2 years related experience preferred. DSP certification also preferred. Paid DSP Certification Training Program available. Must have valid drivers license with no moving violations for past 12 months. Starting rate is $10.33 per hour. Part time and Full time positions available.

Vocational
JOB COACH - The Job Coach provides supported employment training for adults with developmental disabilities working in the community and on grounds. The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. High School diploma and one year experience working with people with developmental disabilities required. Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred. Must be physically able to train persons on job tasks, have effective verbal and written skills plus valid drivers license with no moving violations for the past 12 months. Basic computer skills preferred. Must possess skills to work independently with outside vendors.
